PARENTS' ASSOCIATIONMeeting Minutes 
PA President, Year in ReviewThe 2010-2011 school year was a busy one for the Parents’ Association. From hosting fundraisers to making Valentine ice cream sundaes, there are so many ways that our group helps to support the school. Often we take on large projects, such as renovating an outdoor play area, while at other times our help comes via a batch of homemade muffins for a teacher appreciation breakfast. As in previous years, we have been busy with our annual events such as our Thanksgiving bake sale and Mall Madness, a fun shopping experience for the kids. In memory of one of UCA’s Seniors who passed away early in the school year, we created our school’s first scholarship. It is called the Eli Goss Scholarship and will be awarded to deserving graduating seniors every year. Getting involved with the Parents’ Association is a great way to get to know other parents, find out about events, and help out at school. |
