Jesse Jameson National Merit Finalist

United Christian Academy's Science Department is proud to announce that Jesse Jameson has been chosen to receive the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Medalist Award. Jesse is a member of the class of 2011. UCA was recently approved to be a nominating high school, and Jesse was our first nomination.

Jesse is also a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. First given in 1916, this award includes a large, 4 year scholarship to attend Rensselear. The purpose is to recognize students who have excelled academically in the areas of math and science. Jesse plans to attend RPI and to double major in chemistry and physics.
