Lower School ProfileThe Grammar School at United Christian Academy consists of grades K-6. Students in these grades receive a comprehensive introduction to the basic facts needed to succeed at the higher grade levels. Special emphasis is placed upon Mathematics, Phonics, Reading, Grammar, Spelling, Handwriting, Science and Bible. Cursive writing is introduced at the Kindergarten level and continued throughout the entire academic program. Our curriculum emphasizes the importance of learning factual data in the early years through memorization, recitation, repetition and organization. |
