United Christian Academy offers four years of instruction in French and Spanish on the High School level. French is taught in a traditional classroom and Spanish is taught on-line through Sevenstar Academy. Additional fees apply for students wishing to take Spanish.

The study of French at UCA is enhanced by our immediate proximity to the only French-speaking province in Canada. Native French speakers frequent our streets and stores throughout the year and the opportunity for “social interaction” in French abounds in our area. Field trips to Quebec allow students to put their lessons to immediate use in a context of everyday living.

Whether crossing the border, only four miles away, visiting Quebec, shopping in the local IGA Grocery Store in Stanstead, QE or visiting the international Haskel Opera House, a working knowledge of French opens doors of opportunity to our students to travel freely outside the United States.
