Hobbies: I love spending time with the Lord, reading the Bible, spending time with my family and friends, and working at UCA.
Favorite Bible Verse: "Trust in the LORD with all of your heart; Lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." - Proverbs 3:5,6
My role at UCA gives me the opportunity to serve the Lord by supporting the Head of School, the students and their families, my colleagues and supporters of UCA.
Development and Community Relations Assistant
International Program Coordinator
Years at UCA: 2.5
Hobbies: Baking, Cooking, Piano/Music, Family Time, Needle Crafts
Favorite Bible Verse: Phil. 4:13
Hobbies: Playing volleyball, reading, and vegetable gardening, but mostly my free time is gladly given to my lower school son
Favorite Bible Verse: " 'For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.'" - Jeremiah 29:11
As the Finance Coordinator I am the contact person for all things “money”. I really enjoy getting to know all the UCA families and being able to assist with contract questions and concerns. This job also requires me to pay the bills, among a lot of other bookkeeping tasks, which are not nearly as much fun! As Online Proctor, I get to know many of the Upper School students taking online courses.
International Program Adviser
College and Career Adviser
Credentials: B.S. in Chemistry
Hobbies: Downhill skiing (which is why I love UCA), hiking, camping, canoeing, stamping, and serving in Israel
Favorite Bible Verse: "Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures. Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life." Psalm 119:89-93
For me, teaching provides the joy of walking alongside students and investing in their lives, followed by being able to stand back and watch them become what God has created them to be.
