Traditions & Celebrations
Whether it is “Red and Green Day” at Christmas, “Love of Reading Week” in
February, “School-Spirit Week”, or “Wearin’ of the Green Day” on Saint Patrick’s Day,
UCA is filled with traditions and customs that our students carry from year to year.
These fun-filled days break up the day-to-day routine of school and allow students
and faculty members to relax and have fun together.
Each year we celebrate:
- Veteran’s Day
- Red and Green Day
- Love of Reading Week
- Poetry Week
- Saint Patrick’s Day
- Spirit Week
Additionally throughout the school year we have a number of “dress-down days”
when, for a small fee, students are not required to wear their school uniforms and
money is raised for good causes.
