Adopting a Student

Our reasons for donating tuition to United Christian Academy

This is our first year of “adopting” a student to attend U.C.A. My wife and I recognize that income is the main reason many parents do not consider U.C.A. for their children. We are very concerned by the “single payer education system” most children are stuck with.

The surroundings our children are placed in today for their education is much different than when we went to school in the early sixties and seventies. Judeo-Christian beliefs of right and wrong were upheld in the schools because society for the most part also upheld the same belief system. A teacher’s character was as important as his or her teaching abilities because of the recognized role model they would be for the children and for the respect of the parents.

As Christian parents we are committed to our child receiving a Christian education taught by others strong in the faith. U.C.A. teachers and faculty are nothing short of missionaries. They work for low wages in this world for riches in the next. They love, encourage, and discipline their students for the glory of God. The agendas of the outside world do not affect what is taught or how it is taught.

My appeal is to all Christians in the area. Please consider “adopting a student” by partial or full tuition. No amount is too small. By Vermont income standards my wife and I are in the poverty bracket. In Christ we couldn’t be richer!
